I just had to have a copy. I love Michael Jackson so much... Ebony put a beautiful Photo of MJ on the cover which says a lot. Many magazines put photos of Michael on their cover that were of him looking sad or at a trying time in his life,not very thoughtful. The contents are beautiful.

This is by far the best tribute magazine that I have seen. It is full of beautiful photos and done with the love and respect that Michael Jackson deserves. It's wonderful reading the interview and hearing opinions and stories in his own words. A very positive and uplifting tribute that I will enjoy over and over again through the years.

A Tribute Fit for a KING!!! <3 Nov 05, 2009
I purchased this Tribute Book around the time of Michael Jacksons Death. His death is now 4 months old and it still seems so UNREAL at times and sad.
I love this book becasue it really show the "King of Pop" as more that that...a kinda, gentle, genius of a Human Being!
The Johnson Publishing Co. Apparently had been working with the family and EBONY for years. They were 1 of very few media outlets that the Jackson Family and Michael Jackson let into thier lives.
Its beautifully composed of pictures, articles, tributes and past interviews with Michael. You will NOT regret buying this...it certainly is a great send off for EBONY! Thank You for Giving Michael the RESPECT and LOVE he deserved!

This magazine is a bit pricey for a soft cover magazine, but it is CLASSY and PROFESSIONAL. These are pictures that highligiht MJ's life and career and they are placed appropriately in the magazine; meaning his face is not chopped off or in the gutter (spine) of the magazine. (There are only 3 photos where he is close to the gutter and in these you can still see his image/face). There is no gossip or salicious tabloid garbage which is refreshing. Instead it it shows MJ as a happy, singing, dancing electric entertainer/performer which is how he should be remembered, IMHO. I give this 4 1/2 stars instead of a full 5 stars because the resolution of the photos could have been better (I have seen some of these photos before so know the resolution could be better) and I wish it was a hard cover. It is nice to have MJ presented "in his own words." I had read the Ebony interview online, but it is so much nicer having the photos to go with that interview, which this magazine contains. I wish I had seen this one before I purchased the LIFE tribute as well as the "Before Michael Jackson was King" book of photographs, both of which were NOT worth the money they cost. If you only have the means to purchase only one "tribute," purchase this one or the "Michael Jackson: a Tribute to the King of Pop" book.

The pictorial of Michael was phenomenal. Great shots, fantastic verbage. Glad I bought it. It's a keepsake.
